Hello all,
We have got Harmonica unpacked again, and most things seem to be working. The new mainsail has arrived and is on the mast. We spent 3 days taking the ferry to Penang and back to get Thai visas, and yesterday we rented a car to drive into Kuah, Langkawi where we checked out with the Malaysian Customs, Immigration, and Port Captain (We also watched the Queen of Kedah arrive on her yacht).
The keyboard on the ships computer has developed some quirky habits during 9 months without attention in the tropics and all elasticated clothing on the boat has entirely lost its elasticity. The engine took a little persuading to start, but with a spare set of injector nozzles installed, that seems to be running fine.
However, in a couple of hours, we shall drop our dock lines and start sailing North to Phuket, Thailand, where we shall haul Harmonica out of the water and clean off the remaining shell-fish that did not come off with the the scraper snorkeling from the dock here.
For email, please continue to send everything to ... However, We shall not pick this up (or yahoo) for 2 or 3 days until we arrived in Phuket:
If you need to contact us urgently, then you can use sailmail, but we have not checked the HF radio yet, and, as normal, sailmail cannot take attachments.
